On October 4, 2018 a dialogue with prospective contractors were conducted for the various infrastructure projects of the University for FY 2019. The dialogue was spearheaded by the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) together with the General Services Unit, Planning and Development Unit, and the Office of the Campus Security Service. The said activity is in line with the marching order of the national government on the early procurement but short of award for all procurement activities with the shift to cash-based budgeting in 2019.
Discussions made during the dialogue were on the identified projects with total fund amount of Ph. 160M , namely, Construction of the State-of the Art University Library, Construction of Multi-Purpose Building (CAS) and the Construction of College of Engineering and Information Technology Complex.
Also tackled were the details of compliance of the different regulating bodies for government infra projects and the campus security policies that concerns the said contractors. The milestone for procurement of said projects will be conducted within the months of October and November 2018 and awarding of said projects by the Board of Regents would be by January 2019. CSU President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso is on top of all these projects.
