March 28, 2019, Caraga State University goes through immense Institutional Monitoring and Evaluation by the Commission on Higher Education Region XIII. The Institutional Monitoring and Evaluation by CHED was openly and warmly welcomed by the CSU family led by its quantum leader, University President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso. In his welcome remarks, Dr. Penaso assured the new CHED Director for Caraga Dr. Leonida S. Calagui how caring and talented the people of Caraga are.
Caraga State University representatives headed by its President Dr. Anthony M. Penaso together with Dr. Rolando N. Paluga, Dr. Rowena P. Varela, Dr. Esamel M. Paluga, Dr. Rey Y Capangpangan, Ms. Chime Mora-Garcia, and Mr. Eric John E. Auguis visited prestigious Taiwanese institutions for international collaboration and partnership on research, faculty, and student exchange last March 4-6, 2019.
February 12-15, 2019 was marked as red letter days for Caraga State University as it celebrated its week long university days with a bang. The festivities began on February 12 thru Fashion Forward, followed by a parade, banner raising and Drum and Lyre Corps Exhibition on February 13.
The newly created College of Forestry and Environmental Sciences (COFES) headed by Dr. Gerardo O. Kitche has been reaching out to the community through the Local Government Units (LGUs) in providing better community living through education. Recently, a Memorandum of Agreement was signed by Dr. Anthony M. Penaso, Caraga State University President, and Romeo Constantino L. Vargas, Municipal Mayor of Tubajon on February 6, 2019.
The Caraga State University Extension Services Office (ESO) headed by Dr. Romel A. Seronay collaborated with Butuan City Water District for the Watershed Consciousness Week Celebration which ran from January 21 to 25, 2019.
