Almost 200 participants, including students with special educational needs, teachers, and parents from the Butuan City Special Education Center, visited the HERO Learning Commons for an educational tour. This visit was organized as part of the National Intellectual Disability Week.

Ms. Janet C. Cahiwat, Special Education Teacher (SPET) III, articulated that this tour holds immense potential in nurturing and enhancing the skills of learners with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

In a CSUan way of celebrating the Heart’s Day, Caraga State University faculty and staff gathered to remember the 104th year since Proclamation No. 4 that reserved the 232-hectare land in Brgy. Members of the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), BAC Secretariat, Technical Working Group (TWG), and end-users from both campuses concluded their three-day seminar-workshop on Republic Act 9184 yesterday, February 8. This activity is facilitated by the Government Procurement Policy Board (GPPB) and the University’s BAC.

CEGS completes all COPCs for six undergraduate programs

Two remaining courses under the College of Engineering and Geosciences (CEGS) have been awarded their Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), bringing the percentage of compliance for all their undergraduate programs to 100.

The university’s ReSEED: CARAGA Regional Innovation and Startup Ecosystem (RISE) held its consortium presentation yesterday, January 30, with Caraga’s Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), key government agencies, and Wadhwani Foundation to propel startup initiatives and innovative strategies in shaping the region's future.
