Engr. Lovely Mae Dagsa-Balamad, an instructor from the Department of Electronics Engineering (DEcE) at the College of Engineering and Geosciences (CEGS), has been selected by the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) as one of only 22 scholars from across ASEAN countries to participate in the ASEAN-Australia Centre Short Course on Resources and Energy Transition at Griffith University, Australia.
Caraga State University extends its global linkage with another Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed virtually with Universitas Diponegoro of Indonesia on February 6, 2025.
The MOU establishes the universities’ partnership in education, research, and community service. They will also develop programs to facilitate academic, scientific, and technological exchange, including sending students, faculty, and staff for research, immersion, and joint supervision of graduate students.

Ms. Marisol Jane M. Beray, a faculty of CSU-Cabadbaran Campus, won the Industry Ready Award at the Technology Transfer Conference 2025 Pitching Event hosted by the University of the Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) in Cagayan de Oro on February 7.
The pitching contest brought together innovators, researchers, and industry leaders from Region 10 and neighboring Mindanao universities and colleges to discuss the Technology Transfer and its role in empowering regional innovation.

This commences the university’s acceptance of secondary schools’ immersion programs in Butuan City for this year, as stipulated through the Memorandum of Agreements (MOA).
