The Caraga State University Community observes the commemoration of Proclamation No. 239, s. 2011, today, August 16. This proclamation granted ownership of certain parcels of land in Ampayon, Butuan City, that is the ground where the university thrives today.
Golden paddlers, both students and personnel, gathered for a short program, which included a wreath laying, overview of the university history and community dancing.
Former President Benigno Simeon Aquino III signed the said proclamation, granting special patent to CSU and amending Proclamation No. 4, s. 1920, which was limited to land reservation.
