January 21, 2019. Caraga State University President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso leads the CSU family in aspiring for its Human Resource Management skills enhancement. Key officials and other unit heads gather together at the Grand Palace Hotel in Butuan City for a seminar on Enhanced Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) Accreditation and Readiness Program. HR trainer, associate financial planner and entrepreneur Coach Fe Jennifer Perez serves as its resource person.
The Civil Service Commission’s PRIME-HRM Objective is elevating the HR public sector to a level of excellence for good governance and efficient public service. It further aims to develop and empower agencies and engage people in the organization.
The seminar will equip the CSU workforce in knowing and understanding what PRIME-HRM is. Discuss the components and coverage of PRIME-HRM. Enumerate the criteria for accreditation and criteria for award. Familiarize roles and duties and responsibilities of the Prime Assessment phase among others.
The PRIME-HRM’s rationale is a program that integrates and enhances Personnel Management Assessment and Assistance Program (PMAAP) and the CSC Agency Accreditation Program (CSCAAP). It is a mechanism to continually capacitate agencies in the performance of their human resource management, recognize best practices, and serve as a venue for exchange and development of expertise.
