September 11, 2024 - Caraga State University, through the Division of Strategic Foresight and Management and the Office of the Planning and Quality Management Services (OPQMS), carried out a simultaneous internal program accreditation survey in preparation for the scheduled AACCUP Program Accreditation Survey Visit on September 16-18, 2024.
Division Chief for Strategic Foresight and Management, Mr. Clark Aries B. Ingles, and Ms. Joy Mariz D. Otero, Unit Head of QuAMS Office, rebranded this activity to be now called KASICAS: Keen Accreditation Survey for Institutional Commitment to Academic Standards. The activity aimed to simulate an actual accreditation survey, ensuring that the documents and preparations done are at par with the standards expected during the actual visit.
A total of nine (9) programs were assessed for their readiness to meet accreditation requirements. This included two (2) undergraduate programs, six (6) graduate programs that will undergo a third survey, and one (1) graduate program that will be subject to a preliminary survey visit.
The opening of the internal program accreditation survey was conducted via Zoom in the morning, and a presentation of findings of the Internal Accreditors in the afternoon was conducted face-to-face at the Activity Loft of HERO Learning Commons.
