CSU President Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil attended the 9th Annual Eurasia Higher Education Summit (EURIE) 2024 held at Istanbul Lutfi Kirdar International Convention and Exhibition Centre-ICEC, Türkiye, previously called Turkey, from February 26-29, 2024.
Eurasia Higher Education Summit (EURIE) is a higher education conference and exhibition connecting the dynamic higher education sector in the Eurasian region to the world. EURIE is a conference that addresses current issues in the internationalization of higher education and critical topics in higher education management with the participation of prominent speakers and sector leaders. With numerous panels, plenary sessions, roundtables, and workshops, participants can explore trends, best practices, and innovative solutions in international education. The exhibition offers effective networking, academic partnership, and business development opportunities for the participating Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and other stakeholders in the sector worldwide. With over 2000 attendees representing 72 countries, this premier international conference and exhibition provides an unparalleled platform for networking and collaboration.
President Daguil’s vision for CSU is anchored on his LIKHA Agenda to scale up the university’s global competitiveness. 'LIKHA' means to create or develop. The LIKHA Agenda's overarching plan is based on the interconnected requirements and characteristics of CSU's potential future Talents, Assets, and Opportunities. To improve and foster developments for CSU's talents, assets, and opportunities —as an inventive and entrepreneurial university—this administration is putting forth bold plans, high-impact coalitions, and initiatives to create new value, meaningful solutions, and accountable leaders and stewards.
Through this, he was able to successfully secure 13 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) during the international conference and exhibition with the following esteemed universities: Balikesir University (Türkiye), Bursa Technical University (Türkiye),Duzce University (Türkiye), Yalova University (Türkiye), Izmir Democracy University (Türkiye), Kocaeli Health and Technology University (Türkiye), Zonguldak Bulcent Ecevit University (Türkiye), Kocaeli University (Türkiye), Karabuk University (Türkiye), Bolu Abant Izzet University (Türkiye), Sakarya University of Applied Sciences (Türkiye), Bartin University (Türkiye), and Univesitas Negeri Padang (Indonesia).
