All employees from both campuses gathered for the University-Wide Strategic Plan-Based Planning and Target-Setting for FY 2024, December 21, 2023. A Paskong Sálu-Salo followed at the Kinaadman Grounds.
CSU’s BOR-approved Strategic Plan, Hiraya Manawari ‘28, was presented once again to all constituents. This outlines the detailed plans and targets of the LIKHA Agenda, an abbreviated strategic direction proposed by Dr. Daguil during his presidential bid and will now serve as the new map for both campuses: Launchpad of Innovators and Global Talents, Interdependence and High-impact Coalition, Knowledge Co-creation and Commercialization, Hub of Academic Excellence, and Accelerated Administrative Process and Digital Transformation. The Vice Presidents also presented the proposal for the revised organizational structure.
In his speech, Dr. Daguil highlighted how CSU was able to remarkably surpass its targets for the year, which also reflected his first year in service since his appointment on November 10, 2022. Consequently, he thanked all constituents who were behind the statistics, underscoring the unified effort and dedication to the realized plans and targets.
A Paskong Sálu-Salo followed forthwith in a barrio fiesta setting. Faculty and staff were also entertained with impromptu Christmas presentations from the different pillars, colleges, and units.
