CSU Ranks 5 among the 10 Top Ranking SUC’s in the Country

Caraga State University President Anthony M. Penaso announced that CSU was awarded Rank 5 among the 10 Top Ranking State Universities and Colleges’ in the Philippines. CSU is recognized by the Accrediting Association of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) as five top ranking SUC in the country because of CSU’s vibrant quality assurance service.

Dr. Anthony M. Penaso accepted the award with Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA), Dr. Rolando N. Paluga, College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Dean, Dr. Esamel M. Paluga, College of Education (CeD) Dean, Dr. Miraluna L. Herrera, Quality Assurance Management System (QUAMS) Director, Dr. Fernando T. Herrera, CSU-CC Campus Director, Dr. Marilyn B. Castillo, PMS Chief, Dr. Felix R. Ocarez and College of Tourism Service,  Prof. Maria Jovita C. Serrano of CSU-CC. The award was given on February 17, 2017 at the Century Park Hotel in Manila during the AACCUP Annual Conference.

CSU as a premier institution of higher learning endeavors to continually improve its management system in the following key result areas: outcomes-based teaching and learning; responsive research and community engagement; viable resource generation and mobilization; and good governance towards effective human capital formation and sustainable development of Caraga region and beyond.
