A Memorandum of Agreement was signed today, September 20, 2024, at Southern Luzon State University to formalize the procurement of CSU’s two homegrown systems: Student Enrollment and Financial Automation and Resource Management. This marks the third time an agency has acquired the financial system organically developed by the university and the first time for the student enrollment system.
University President Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil and SLSU President Dr. Frederick T. Villa signed the document, with Vice President for Research and Development, Innovation, and Extension Dr. Jeffrey T. Dellosa, MIS Director Mr. Dave Anthony P. Asis, and other CSU and SLSU executives serving as witnesses.
After thorough consideration, SLSU expressed that the products and services provided by CSU were highly beneficial and crucial for managing their financial and enrollment operations, particularly in implementing an automated financial and resource management system, as well as an enrollment system.
Following the ceremonial signing, CSU and its Management Information Systems (MIS) Office will oversee the installation and configuration of the servers within SLSU's infrastructure. The project is expected to be fully operational within two years.
The Financial Automation and Resource Management System, widely known as FARMS at CSU, was innovatively spearheaded by Dr. Daguil during his tenure as the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Director. The President also partnered with the current MIS Director, Mr. Asis, to develop the Enrollment Systems.
CSU is grateful to SLSU for its confidence in the systems developed and hopes to expand its reach to more agencies and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the future, aligning with its overarching goal of digital transformation in administration.
