Dr. Lorenzo “Dodong” O. Macasocol of CSU batch 1995, Bachelor in Elementary Education, Magna cum laude radiates as an academic executive of the Department of Education (DepEd) as Schools Division Superintendent (SDS) in the province of Agusan del Norte. Dr. Macasocol also belongs to batch 2001, for his Master’s degree in Education.

The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) celebrated it Regional Science and Technology Week (RSTW) on October 19-23, 2022 at the Robinsons Mall, Butuan City. One of the highlights of the RSTW was the Ideation and Pitching Competition where CSU was First Place in Ready to Mix Sagu, Soybeans, and Pao brownies concoctions.
The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) - Institutional Development and Innovation Grant (IDIG) from the central office conducted an onsite validation at Caraga State University for the project titled, “Upgrading Flexible Teaching and Learning Experience in CSU,” on October 25, 2022. The project is led by Dr. Rolando N. Paluga, Vice President for Academic Affairs.
