Caraga State University celebrated its University Days from February 10-14, 2020 with its theme CSU@10: Padayun sa Paglambu og Paglayag #BugsayPaMore to commemorate its 10th anniversary as university through RA 9184.
An array of activities spearheaded by the CSU Administration, coursed through the Office of the Vice President for Administration and Finance, with the League of Campus Organizations were launched during the week-long celebration.
Notable events were the Groundbreaking Ceremonies, Celebration of Love and Life with the Retirees, Sports Fest, Forest Healing, and Sky Gazing and Cloud watching, and the State of the University Address (SUNA) of Dr. Anthony M. Penaso and Pasidungog 2020.
Five buildings, to wit: CSU Gymnasium and Cultural Center, Ladies and Gents Dormitory, CEIT Complex, and Farm Mechanization will soon rise this 2020 as the Groundbreaking Ceremonies for the latter were held last February 11, 2020.
Former employees who stood as capital assets in the advancement of the University were also given tribute by the university officials in an event dubbed as Celebration of Love and Life with the Retirees
From February 10, 2020 to February 13, 2020, the CSU faculty and staff wholesomely clashed in teams as they played in the Sports Fest.
To sustain its environmental consciousness and responsiveness, conduct of Forest Healing and Sky Gazing and Cloud Watching was done last February 14, 2020.
CSU President Dr. Anthony M. Penaso presented the university’s top notch performances and deliveries for the year in all its key areas during his State of the University Address and applauded its faculty and staff who showed remarkable accomplishments, contributions, and effectiveness in their area of service for the year, as per Civil Service Commission’s PRAISE during the Pasidungog 2020 last February 13, 2020 at the LMX Convention Center.
The League of Campus Organizations also spearheaded activities and sights for the studentry. This year the LCO put in a carnival to make the University days more festive and inviting. ARP/OVPAF/pico
