TODAY, August 11 – CHASS, led by the Department of Psychology, is taking research and extension initiatives a notch higher! The Scientific Forum on Human Intelligence with Dr. Jakob Pietschnig, a Professor at the University of Vienna, Austria, has concluded today with pivotal discussions for its faculty members and students.

The activity promises expanded knowledge on theoretical foundations and translate them into research and extension interests in psychology and social sciences. It also targets possible collaborations for more academic opportunities. Professor Jeffrey T. Dellosa, the Vice President for Research, Innovation, Extension, and Innovation, was present in this undertaking to show full support for the initiative.

Dr. Jakob Pietschnig leads the University of Vienna’s Individual Differences and Psychological Assessment Unit. His research focused on human intelligence, particularly on generational test score changes (i.e., the Flynn effect) and biological bases of intelligence.

Kudos, CHASS and the Department of Psychology! PICO
