The Office of the Vice President for Administration headed by Dr. Armie Leila M. Mordeno initiated a seminar on RA 9184 known as the Government Procurement Reform Act. And its 2016 revised implementing rules and regulations. RA 9184 is an Act providing for the Modernization, Standardization, and Regulation of the Procurement Activities of the Government and for other purposes.
The Caraga State University (CSU) Graduate Students of the Masters in Environmental Management (MEM) program conducted a Seminar on Mitigation, Adaptation, and Resilience to Climate Change at Barangay Babag, Butuan City last 21 July 2018. The Seminar was in coordination with the CSU Center for Research on Environmental Management and Eco-Governance (CRÈME).

Professor Lee Peng Yee of the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore convened a total of fifty-nine (59) Mathematics educators for a three-day seminar-workshop.
