Caraga State University representatives headed by its President Dr. Anthony M. Penaso together with Dr. Rolando N. Paluga, Dr. Rowena P. Varela, Dr. Esamel M. Paluga, Dr. Rey Y Capangpangan, Ms. Chime Mora-Garcia, and Mr. Eric John E. Auguis visited prestigious Taiwanese institutions for international collaboration and partnership on research, faculty, and student exchange last March 4-6, 2019.
Dr. Elizabeth P. Parac of the College of Agriculture and Agri-Industries (CAAI) and Dr. Rey Y. Capangpangan of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) recently won best scientific papers from two different prestigious international conferences.
Seven Science Faculty Members were sent to the Summer Programs dubbed as @Silpakorn 2018 held at the Faculty of Science, Silpakorn University, Nakhon Pathom, Thailand last July 31 to August 9, 2018. Accordingly, the summer program aims to publicize academics and research innovation, and promote cooperation and collaboration with other universities in the international level. The summer camp was participated by faculty members, researchers and graduate students from universities in Laos, Philippines and Vietnam.
Caraga State University conducted ISO 9000: 2015 Internal Quality Audit Training and ISO 9001: 2015 QMS Awareness Seminar-workshop to CSU Key Officials and select office personnel on January 22-24, 2018 at the CSU Organic Agriculture Training Center (OATC).
Ms. Rowena A. Japitana of the Department of Biology, College of Arts and Sciences attended an International Summer School program on Spatially-Explicit Modelling of Ecological Systems at the Center for Computational and Theoretical Biology in University of Würzburg, Germany on May 8-12, 2017. The program was funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)and was attended by selected participants from Asia and Europe.
