The Caraga State University (CSU) officially announces the opening of the Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology (BSMB), which aims to produce highly skilled marine biologists equipped to address the challenges of marine biodiversity conservation, coastal sustainability, and climate resilience.

Seven (7) Golden Paddlers passed the 2025 Certification Examination for Registered Microbiologists (RMicro) administered by the Philippine Academy of Microbiology, Inc. (PAM) on January 18-19, 2025, in Taguig City.
The registered microbiologists include Jerico B. Aloba, Roland Care B. Burdeos, John Benedict B. Diaz, Kent D. Lampad, Ella Mae C. Lasco, Necel Keren S. Paglinawan, Al Austin M. Saclolo. Four of the seven passers mentioned have recently graduated with a BS in Biology in 2024.

To promote deep appreciation and excellence in microbiology, the Caraga State University’s Microbiology Majors and Enthusiasts Society (MicroBioMES) hosted the 2nd Mindanao Microbiology Olympiad Regional Elimination Round on February 7, 2025, gathering quizzers from five (5) schools within Caraga.
