The Caraga State University (CSU) signed two significant documents on May 13, 2024: a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Agriculture (DA) Caraga and a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with both DA Caraga and the CSU-Butuan PGS Organic Farmers Association.

Flying Fox conservation in Southeast Asia and the Philippines got a boost on a 6-day workshop to assess the results of flying fox hunting and trafficking studies in Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines and the finalization of the Philippine Flying Fox Conservation and Management Plan 2022 - 2032. Flying Fox species in Southeast Asia are threatened by habitat loss and roost site disturbance, especially by hunting.
Caraga State University, through its Center for Human-Computer Interaction (CHCI), continuously develops innovations for sustainability; one of which is in the developing agricultural infrastructure sector of the Caraga region. CSU-CHCI partners with the Bureau of Agricultural and Fisheries Engineering of the Department of Agriculture BAFE- DA in this particular project.
