Electronics and geodetic engineering students from Caraga State University won the championship, 2nd, and 4th runners-up in the regional pitching contest hosted by the Association of Caraga Educators for Geology, Architecture, Technology, and Engineering (ACE for GATE) on November 14-16 in Surigao City.
Out of the 34 concepts from various higher education institutions in the region, the following three concepts from CSU College of Engineering and Geosciences made it to the top five:
Continuously expanding its network of international partners, the Caraga State University forges a partnership with Silla University (SU), a private university in Busan, South Korea, with its Memorandum of Understanding signed on May 21, 2024.
With the MOU established, both universities will collaborate in education and research opportunities, encourage direct contact and collaboration among faculty and students, and develop and exchange insights and materials on civic education, among others.
Raquel M. Balanay, PhD, Professor VI and a recognized leader in advancing innovative agricultural, aquatic, and natural research in the region, was honored with the Outstanding Leadership Award from the DOST-Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCAARRD) on November 8, 2024, at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City.
As I reflect on the past two years as President of Caraga State University, I am filled with gratitude and pride. Together, we have embarked on a journey of transformation and resilience, guided by our shared vision and commitment to excellence. Our CSU Futures Triangle has been our compass, directing our efforts toward sustainable development, community-centered initiatives, and ethical stewardship. Each achievement over these past two years reflects our collective dedication to creating an environment that not only educates but also empowers and inspires.
TODAY, November 08 – Executives from the Local Government Academy (LGA) tap Caraga State University (CSU) to tackle possible collaborations for development and risk reduction management plans through a partnership meeting.
