TODAY, March 28 – the university’s Gender and Development (GAD) Office wraps up its Purple Fridays through the CSU Stride & Thrive: Walk and Jog for Health at the New Administration Grounds, starting at 2:30 PM.
Twenty-six (26) government and private offices across Regions IX, X, and XIII gathered to honor and celebrate women’s contribution to nation-building through the Pakigduyog: Women’s Summit 2025, a service fair and bazaar on March 27, 2025.
The Philippine Commission on Women spearheads the activity in partnership with the City Government of Butuan and the CSU Gender and Development Office in recognition of the annual National Women’s Month Celebration.
Fifty-eight (58) teaching and administrative personnel of Caraga State University participated in a Gender Sensitivity Training on March 20-21, 2025, aiming to broaden their awareness about the rights, duties, and obligations of all genders and, in turn, promote equality.

CSU’s Gender and Development (GAD) Office, in partnership with the region’s Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), highlighted gender perspective in response management as it commenced its National Disaster Month Training on Gender Perspective Response Management with the CSU Disaster Risk Reduction Management (CSU-DRRM) Core Group, Unit Heads, Directors, and college representatives.
