As I reflect on the past two years as President of Caraga State University, I am filled with gratitude and pride. Together, we have embarked on a journey of transformation and resilience, guided by our shared vision and commitment to excellence. Our CSU Futures Triangle has been our compass, directing our efforts toward sustainable development, community-centered initiatives, and ethical stewardship. Each achievement over these past two years reflects our collective dedication to creating an environment that not only educates but also empowers and inspires.
The Public Information, Alumni and External Affairs (PIAEA) office and the Caraga State University Alumni Association Inc. (CSUAAI) had been advocating environmental protection and sustainability for years now. This alumni homecoming 2018, with host batch 1993, the group introduced plogging as one of its pre-homecoming activities. It is the first time in Mindanao that plogging has been done and we did it here in Caraga at Caraga State University.
On February 1, 2018, the Caraga State University cafeteria and food concessionaires in the colleges, unite with CSU, in the official implementation of the non-use of plastic in accord to the Memorandum Order No. 12, series 2018 released by the Office of the University President.
