Caraga State University is among the 120 recipient Teacher Education Institutions of the 2025 Excellence in Quality Assurance in Teacher Education (EQUATE) award from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) on April 2, 2025, in Manila.
Out of the 1,553 TEIs in the country, 120 were recognized for their outstanding performance in the licensure examinations and for upholding the highest standards in delivering pre-service teacher education programs.
Caraga State University (CSU) proudly announces the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) En Banc's approval of its Doctor of Medicine Program. This historic milestone establishes CSU as the home of Caraga's first public medical school, fulfilling a mandate under Republic Act 9854.

March 28, 2019, Caraga State University goes through immense Institutional Monitoring and Evaluation by the Commission on Higher Education Region XIII. The Institutional Monitoring and Evaluation by CHED was openly and warmly welcomed by the CSU family led by its quantum leader, University President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso.
