Aiming to reduce carbon emissions while improving mobility options on the campus, the Caraga State University’s Pollution Control Office launched its Sustainable Mobility Program on August 19, providing ten (10) bikes as sustainable transportation options at the outset.
June 19, 2024 – The Pollution Control and Environmental Management Office (PCEMO) of the university successfully launched the University Carbon Sink Enhancement Program, marked by the planting 2,532 native trees at the Basag and Antongalon boundaries of the university. This initiative pushes to uplift our Golden Paddlers’ commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability.
In a bid to promote sustainable waste management practices and environmental consciousness, Caraga State University (CSU) hosted an informative Ecological Solid Waste Management Seminar in partnership with the City Government of Butuan’s City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) today at the H.E.R.O. Auditorium.
