December 14, 2024 – The Caraga State University-Main Campus alumni convened at the Activity Loft of HERO Learning Commons for their annual Grand Alumni Homecoming. Its Alumni Association Golden Paddlers Incorporated (CSUAAGPI) newly-elected officers, including those in the federation for 2024-2026, were also presented.
The Golden Paddlers comprise graduates of CSU and its former institutions: Agusan Agriculture High School (AAHS), Northern Mindanao Agricultural College (NORMINAC), and Northern Mindanao State Institute of Science and Technology (NORMISIST).
University President Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil delivered an inspiring message to the alumni, sharing updates on LIKHA, the university’s strategic development plan. He also emphasized how the institution has transformed and expanded into a renowned center of academic excellence while maintaining its deep connection with its alumni.
Honorable Atty. Oliver Bulang, Alumni Regent for 2024-2026 and President of the CSU Alumni Association – Cabadbaran Campus, expressed his support through a virtual message. Meanwhile, Honorable Quemi Z. Omega, Alumni Regent for the Main Campus, presented the renewal of alumni projects following the recitation of the solidarity pledge.
The event also celebrated various accomplishments within the alumni community. Awards were given to recognize outstanding fraternity and sorority community service, the best T-shirt design, and the SANGHAYA Class 2024 project initiative. The program culminated with various activities, including raffles, games, and a talent showcase.
The CSU Alumni Relations Office expressed its commitment to sustaining this annual tradition every December, aiming to strengthen connections with alumni and encourage greater participation in future celebrations.
