College of Education
Background
The College of Education (CEd), with its foundation spanning three buildings—the main college building, the Home Making Building, and the Secondary Building—offers a range of academic programs to aspiring educators. The main college building, erected in 1990 on the campus's 1st street, is not only the focal point of CEd's academic activities but also hosts crucial facilities like the CEd Accreditation Center and the College Faculty Office.
Within this two-storey building, designed to support 600 students, CEd administers various programs, including the Bachelor of Elementary Education and the Bachelor of Secondary Education. The latter encompasses majors in English, Filipino, Mathematics, and Science, providing students with specialized knowledge in these key subject areas. Additionally, the college features a Diploma in Teachers Certificate Program, catering to individuals seeking a comprehensive and specialized teaching qualification.
This diversity of programs within the College of Education reflects its commitment to equipping students with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in the dynamic field of education.
