Three first-year BS Environmental Science students demonstrated remarkable honesty today, October 2, by returning a lost sum of Php 40,000.00 that they found in the parking lot of HERO Learning Commons. Dreama C. Dugho, Hazel Joy L. Cruda, and Jolina B. Pamor promptly reported the lost money to the building's staff and security personnel, who immediately informed the three major spaces at HERO that were hosting different activities.
After the announcement, the cash was confirmed to belong to Dr. John Denen C. Daan, a faculty member of the School of Medicine. Dr. Daan was attending an exit conference for the CHED Technical Panel’s review of the proposed Doctor of Medicine program in the Boardroom of the same building.
Dr. Daan personally expressed his gratitude and rewarded the students for their exemplary conduct. The university executives, including President Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil, who was present at the venue, also commended the students for their admirable behavior.
Their actions truly exemplify the core CSUan values of Uprightness, highlighting integrity. Without a doubt, they are true Golden Paddlers!
