181 newly hired, promoted, and reclassified personnel from both CSU campuses officially took their oath of office before the University President, Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil, at the Activity Loft of HERO Learning Commons.

This batch transpired from the remaining positions in the implementation of the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Revised Organizational Structure and Staffing Standards (ROSSS) for SUCs Phase 1 in 2023 for non-teaching personnel and the result of the DBM-CHED Joint Circular No. 3, s 2022 on Faculty Reclassification this year for teaching personnel.

Dr. Rolando N. Paluga also took oath as the newest University Professor following the release of the certification report for College/University Professors by the National Certification Committee pursuant to DBM-CHED Joint Circular and the approved endorsement through BOR Referendum Resolution No. 04-02-01, S. 2024.

Moreover, the proposed School of Medicine also welcomed three (3) additional medical doctors as professors and Technical Working Group (TWG) members for its ongoing application to offer a Doctor of Medicine Program, the first in Caraga. The hiring is one of CHED’s requirements for opening the said program.

The University rejoices with its personnel in this achievement to propel to greater heights of excellence through dedicated service. Bugsay, our professional Golden Paddlers!
