The university’s ReSEED: CARAGA Regional Innovation and Startup Ecosystem (RISE) held its consortium presentation yesterday, January 30, with Caraga’s Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), key government agencies, and Wadhwani Foundation to propel startup initiatives and innovative strategies in shaping the region's future.
The activity featured detailed presentations, including MOA Signing, Strategies Planning, Advisory Board formation, RDP for startup ecosystem development (with a focus on Mentor pool development), Roadmap delineation, and RDC Resolution. Each of these components underscored the consortium's concerted efforts and strategic planning for the region's sustainable growth of startup initiatives.
Four esteemed HEIs in the region – Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT), Father Saturnino Urios University (FSUU), North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU), and Surigao del Norte State University (SNSU) – gathered in a series of thought-provoking discussions with support from key government agencies in the Caraga region, namely the National Economic and Development Authority Caraga (NEDA), Department of Science and Technology - Caraga Region (DOST), Department of Information And Communications Technology - Caraga Region (DICT), Department of Trade and Industry - Caraga Region (DTI), and Department of Agriculture - Caraga Region (DA).
The activity targets a robust Startup Ecosystem in the Caraga Region.
