Recalibration of the CSU Process Owners and Internal Quality Auditors on ISO 9001:2015

Caraga State University underwent a three-day ISO 9001:2015 Awareness and Internal Quality Audit Seminar - Workshop on March 14-16, 2023 at the Caraga State University New Admin Conference Hall, organized by the Office of Quality Management Services.

In pursuit to recalibrate and capacitate the university regarding the ISO 9001:2015, Caraga State University from the initiative of Quality Assurance Management Services Office, conducted its opening program on ISO 9001:2015 Awareness and Internal Quality Audit Seminar - Workshop. The activity was attended by the process owners and internal quality auditors of the university.

Dr. Marilou H. Mella, the Resource Person of this activity had discussed thoroughly the ISO 9001 concepts and clauses on the first day. On the 2nd day, Dr. Mellas highlighted the proper conduct of Internal Quality Audit based on the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 and guidelines of ISO 19011:2018. In the series of the discussion, the participants were able to take grasp about the distinctions of audit findings such as observations, opportunities for improvement, and nonconformities.

On her closing remarks, Vice President for Executive Operation and Auxiliary Services, Dr. Michelle V. Japitana commended the effort of Dr. Marilou H. Mella, the Resource Person for the entire activity and lauded the Office of the Quality Management Services for its shared effort, hard work, and perseverance. She also recognized the active participation of the participants especially the involvement of the Internal Quality Auditors on the university's pursuit to continual improvement.
