The Office of Student Welfare and Engagements (OSWE) under the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and Auxiliary Services (OVPSAS) continually promotes responsible student behavior and effective conflict resolution through a seminar with select Golden Paddlers from the College of Education (CEd).
The session was facilitated by Dr. Julie S. Berame, Director of OSWE, and Dr. Leo L. Codilla Jr., Dean of CEd. Discussions centered on the Student Code of Conduct, ethical decision-making, and mediation strategies for resolving conflicts constructively. By reinforcing these principles, OSWE aims to cultivate a culture of accountability, respect, and leadership among Golden Paddlers, ensuring they embody the values expected of future educators and role models within the academic community.
