The Caraga State University (CSU) has once again reaffirmed its commitment to innovation and research excellence with the approval of three groundbreaking projects set for implementation in 2025. The announcement was made today, October 17, 2024, during the DOST-PCIEERD Grand MOA Signing held at the Sheraton Manila Hotel, Pasay City.
These projects will be housed in two of CSU's premier research centers, the Center for Human-Computer Interaction (CHCI) and the Mathematical and Statistical Computing Research Center (MSCRC). The approved projects are as follows:
ISySS CDM: Intelligent System for Secure and Sustainable Chemical Distribution Management

COULIGLIG: Cooperative Unified Logistics using Intelligent Grouped Robots
Project Leader: Engr. Rudolph Joshua U. Candare
Project Funding: 9.9 Million

ML-PREP: Machine Learning of Physics-based Earthquake-Induced Landslide Parameters for Efficient Prediction and Warning in the Philippines
Project Leader: Dr. Jayrold P. Arcede
Research Center: Mathematical and Statistical Computing Research Center (MSCRC)
Project Funding: 20 Million
Duration: 2 years
