July 31, 2019. Caraga State University, through the initiative of the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs marked the culmination activity for its first ever Affirmative Action Plan completers.
A total of 16 completers attended the culmination activity held at the College of Arts and Sciences Audio-Visual Room along with the College Deans and their representatives, the Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Rolando N. Paluga, and the University President Dr. Anthony M. Penaso with College of Arts and Sciences Dean, Dr. Esamel M. Paluga and College of Education Dean, Dr. Alvic A. Arnado.
Dr. Penaso told the completers that in order to succeed in their studies and in their lives they should put in sheer hard work and utter faith in God.
The 16 completers received a certificate of completion that served as their admission to the program based on their priorities.
The Affirmative Action Plan is the university's quest for equitable and quality education providing an opportunity to students, who are 4Ps beneficiaries and members of IP communities who run short in the University's admission test. JSG/pico
