The Caraga State University is again declared as PBB-eligible for eight (8) consecutive years!
For FY 2022, the university has once more fulfilled the criteria for eligibility to receive the Performance-Based Bonus (PBB) following the release of assessment results from the Inter-Agency Task Force on the Harmonization of National Government Performance Monitoring, Information and Reporting Systems, dated March 15, 2024.
The University excelled across four key areas: achieving all performance targets set by Congress for FY 2022 (Performance Results), improving transaction processes (Process Results), achieving 93% in Disbursements and Earmarked Income BUR (Financial Results), and maintaining high satisfaction rates among citizens/clients, with 100% resolution on #8888 complaints and 0 complaints from Contact Center ng Bayan (CCB) ((Citizen/Client Satisfaction Results).
CSU is also compliant with the following agency accountabilities: Transparency Seal, Freedom of Information, Compliance to Audit Findings, Posting of Agency Review and Compliance Procedure (ARCP) of SALN, Submission of FY 2023 Annual Procurement Plan-Common Use Supplies and Equipment (APP-CSE), Submission of FY 2022 APP Non-Common Use Supplies and Equipment (APP non-CSE), Posting of Indicative FY 2023 APP non-CSE, Submission of FY 2021 Agency Procurement Compliance and Performance Indicators (APCPI), Undertaking of Early Procurement Activities (EPA) covering FY 2023 Procurement Projects, and Designation of the Agency's Committee on Anti-Red Tape (CART).
Eligible CSU personnel shall receive 61.75% of their monthly salaries once the remaining requirements, such as the need for a “Very Satisfactory” rate for first, second, and third-level employees based on the CSC-approved Strategic Performance Management System (SMPS), are provided.
To be eligible for the FY 2022 Performance-Based Bonus (PBB), the agency must achieve a cumulative score of no less than 70 points. This requisite attainment necessitates the agency's attainment of a performance rating of 4 in a minimum of three (3) specified criteria. Under these circumstances, while the agency as a whole would meet eligibility criteria, any unit or individual, inclusive of its respective head that is responsible for the criteria outlined in Section 3.0 of Memorandum Circular (MC) 2022-1, failing to secure a performance rating of 4 or higher, shall be disqualified from receiving the FY 2022 PBB allocation.
This long-standing accomplishment is a testament to the sustained stride for excellence exemplified by all members of the university pillars. Congratulations, CSU!
