Caraga State University is among the 120 recipient Teacher Education Institutions of the 2025 Excellence in Quality Assurance in Teacher Education (EQUATE) award from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) on April 2, 2025, in Manila.
Out of the 1,553 TEIs in the country, 120 were recognized for their outstanding performance in the licensure examinations and for upholding the highest standards in delivering pre-service teacher education programs.
CSU joins three (3) other State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in Caraga that were honored and is the only one in the region with dual awards for elementary and secondary levels.
University President Rolyn C. Daguil, PhD, received the award together with Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Vicente A. Pitogo, DIT, and College of Education (CEd) Dean Leo L. Codilla, PhD and Associate Dean Abzonie B. Reño.
This exemplary recognition re-affirms the university’s commitment to providing advanced education and quality training in the country.
