The university's Library Information Services (LIS) commences its three-day Book Fair to update its current library resources, ultimately providing Golden Paddlers with updated reference materials.
Various book suppliers showcase their collections for selection from February 19-21, 2025. The selection criteria include curricular support, undergraduate and master’s program relevance, faculty recommendations, demand and potential use, reviews from standard selection sources, program requirements, and budgetary considerations.
Faculty members and students are encouraged to participate in the selection process, ensuring that the materials acquired align with academic and research needs.
The annual Book Fair serves as a strategic avenue for strengthening CSU Library’s holdings, enabling students and faculty to access up-to-date and relevant materials. The books selected will be integrated into the library’s collection, fostering a richer learning environment for the university community.
