Caraga State University’s key officials and other employees convened at the Kinaadman Hall’s Conference Room on March 21, 2025 to formally discuss the findings and recommendations during the audit for Calendar Year 2024 with the Commission on Audit’s (COA) resident auditors.
During the discussion, the Audit Team Leader, Mr. Anbert C. Cayna, presented Audit Observation Memoranda (AOM) with corresponding recommendations and other concerns yet to be assessed. Said auditors also presented data on the Status of Implementation of Prior Years' Audit Recommendations. This data highlighted areas that the university needs to prioritize for implementation.
The university also received no adverse audit findings, and all observations and recommendations from the audit team were successfully communicated and addressed.
The COA Exit Conference provided an opportunity for the university to clarify its issues and concerns. It served as a platform for discussing the observations and recommendations made by the audit team. This initiative promotes integrity among all officials and individuals present, encouraging everyone to always act with uprightness and to be mindful of every financial decision. │ via NMD/PICO
