To continuously improve its brand in social media and print, Caraga State University, through the Public Information and Communication Office (PICO), held a workshop series on content writing, graphic designing, and social media management, participated by designated Correspondents in the Main and Cabadbaran campuses on March 25-26, 2025.
The "Elevating the Visual Brand: Training with PICO Correspondents" is an annual initiative of the PICO that aims to equip correspondents with skills in effective communication, maintaining professional standards and adapting to the evolving digital and print media landscape.
This year’s workshop featured resource speakers from the Butuan City Public Information Office (PIO), including Lorilly Charmane D. Awitan, Richmond C. Hinayon, and Simel Adam M. Amplayo. The team delved into the skills crucial for producing compelling promotional materials and maintaining an engaging online presence. They also discussed related trends, techniques, and tools.
Now in its third year, the workshop also served as the onboarding of newly designated correspondents for 2025, orienting them on the processes and operations of PICO, the official communication arm of CSU. Ultimately, it addresses the growing demand for high-quality and consistent content dissemination, which CSU constantly upholds.
