Twenty-six (26) government and private offices across Regions IX, X, and XIII gathered to honor and celebrate women’s contribution to nation-building through the Pakigduyog: Women’s Summit 2025, a service fair and bazaar on March 27, 2025.
The Philippine Commission on Women spearheads the activity in partnership with the City Government of Butuan and the CSU Gender and Development Office in recognition of the annual National Women’s Month Celebration.
The summit aims to promote gender fairness, enhance access to public services for women and girls, and recognize marginalized women’s contributions. It consisted of an opening program, learning sessions on sector-specific gender issues, a Service Fair (Serbisyo para kay Juana: One-stop Shop), and a closing program. At least 500 women from 'marginalized sectors and groups’ were pre-identified to join the summit.
The Service Fair is among the highlights of the summit. Partner government and private agencies set up booths and offered free services. A Women’s Fair Bazaar was also established, showcasing products from women-owned and women-led businesses.
