The Caraga State University- Bids and Awards Committee held series of online fora for ongoing and upcoming 2021 projects, the awarding of three projects under Regular Agency Fund (RAF) 2020, and the public bidding for projects under Internally Generated Fund (IGF)/Business Related Fund (BRF) 2020.
Together with the Planning and Development director, Dr. Michelle V. Japitana, the General Services director Engr. Marilou G. Umpad, and the Vice President for Administration and Finance, Dr. Armie Leila M. Mordeno steered the Dialogue and Forum for Ongoing and Incoming 2021 Projects via Google Meet last September 22, 2020. This was attended by the Bids and Awards Committee members and prospective bidders of the different projects.
On September 23, 2020, the Caraga State University - Bids and Awards Committee conducted a virtual public bidding of three projects under Regular Agency Fund (RAF) 2020. From the Pre-Procurement Conference last September 1, 2020, and Pre-Bidding Conference last September 11, 2020, respectively, the bidders who have passed and complied the necessary requirements and agreements set by the Bids and Awards Committee were recommended for awarding of bids to the Board of Regents, through the University Development and Program Review Committee (UDPRC).
The project with their respective Lowest Calculated Bids (LCBs)/Single Calculated Bids (SCBs) are as follows: Provision of ICT Equipment for the Construction/ Completion of the State-of-the-Art University Library was awarded to WebCode I.T Solution; Provision of Furniture & Fixtures for the Construction/ Completion of the State-of-the-Art University Library was awarded to WebCode I.T Solution;Provision of Cool Ventilation for the Construction/ Completion of the State-of-the-Art University Library was awarded to Metro Coolaire Trading Corporation.
All of the awarded projects are for the completion of the State-of-the-Art Library, formerly known as Ochoa library in honor of the First Congresswoman of the Philippines who led the birth of Agusan Agicutural High School, now CSU, will be renamed as CSU-HERO or Honorable Elisa R. Ochoa Learning Commons. It is now on its last phase of construction.
On October 26, 2020, another Public Bidding (Opening of Bids) for online subscription and equipment was done with fund source from Internally Generated Fund (IGF)/Business Related Fund (BRF) 2020. Four projects, to wit: Provision of Multimedia Audio System for the operation of the State-of-the-Art University Library, Provision of Online Database Subscription for the Operation of CSU Library, Provision of Electrical supplies, materials, and equipment for the operation of Packaging and Labeling Innovation Center PLIC, and provision of Machinery and Technical Scientific Equipment for the Operation of DABIOTECH-C2003 were opened to prospect project bidders.
