The Commission on Higher Education has conducted a Mindanao Zonal Orientation on the Philippine Skills Framework (PSF) and Alignment of Higher Education Curricula with the Industry Sector last November 23, 2022, at the Garden Orchid Hotel, Zamboanga City.
The PSF is an initiative made by ten government agencies aiming to equip Filipinos with the necessary skillset to jumpstart and progress in their career. Education and training institutions need to develop appropriate curricular content for learners to provide the industry employers with a Filipino workforce with appropriate skillset for the job.
The event was participated by the different State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in Regions 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 and Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
