Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil, Dean of the College of Computing and Information Sciences presented the CCIS Research and Development Roadmap, Development Framework, and Development Plan through a virtual orientation of newly hired CCIS faculty members. This was to urge the new faculty members to engage and collaborate in research and development activities. Encouraging them to scale up their expertise, to be more competent and efficient and to be able to produce more qualified graduates in computing and information sciences.
The CCIS welcomes its eleven (11) new teaching personnel by conducting the “New CCIS Faculty Brief 2022 - 2023 Intake”, held on September 15, 2022, via the Zoom platform. The CCIS Dean with the CCIS Associate Dean - Dr. Vicente A. Pitogo, and the Program Chairpersons from Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS), Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS), and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT).
The brief orientation for the new CCIS faculty focused on introducing the Caraga State University vision and mission and the CCIS goals and objectives. Furthermore, the faculty brief includes a discussion on faculty monitoring and evaluation. The faculty briefing aims to provide the newly hired faculty with an overview of the institution; its VMGO, Core values and institutional programs, and to assist them in beginning a successful career at CCIS.
