Executives, Admission Board Members, and selected faculty from the Bohol Island State University (BISU) visited CSU on March 11, 2024, to learn best practices for admission policy and processes and CSU’s accomplishments throughout the years. The benchmarking activity is included as the first agenda in their series of admission pilot tests in the Caraga Region.
President Daguil and the Vice Presidents welcomed the delegates through a courtesy call.
Dr. Zina Sayson, VP for Student Affairs and Services at BISU, extended gratitude to CSU for their willingness to share information towards their admission endeavors. Dr. Maria Lilibeth Castil, VP for Academics and Quality Assurance, echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the commitment to strengthening academic ties with CSU.
It is noteworthy that BISU’s current President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso, previously served CSU in the same executive position. His presidency spanned 8 years from 2014, with reappointment in 2018. This underscores the depth of experience and leadership Dr. Penaso brings to the collaboration between the two esteemed institutions.
