Last October 17, 2022, marked the opening of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) accreditation virtual survey visit in CSU. Ten curricular programs of the Caraga State University underwent accreditation to get to Levels I, II, III, and IV accreditation.
The College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHaSS), the College of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (CMNS) and the College of Computing and Information Sciences (CCIS) were up for the 3rd Survey visit. While the College of Agriculture and Agri-Industries (CAA), the College of Forestry and Environmental Science (CoFES) and College of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (CMNS) goes through the 4th Survey Visit. for the Bachelor of Agricultural Technology program.
The program accreditation survey visit led to a successful outcome as the Bachelor of Agricultural Technology received its certification for level 4 accreditation. The Level IV Accreditation Status is the highest level granted by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. The programs with this level of accreditation status equate with other universities abroad. The Bachelor of Agricultural Technology is the 1st program of the university and in Caraga Region that attained this accreditation status. JMOtero/pico
