The goal of the College of Forestry and Environmental Science (CoFES) revolves its four (4) fold functions of Instruction, Research, Extension, and Production.
They are translated into the following objectives:
To train students in the proper management, conservation, and the utilization of the country’s forest resources in order to meet the demands of high quality human resources in forestry and environmental concerns;
To conduct researches to support national and regional thrusts in forestry, agroforestry and environment;
To carry out public education and information campaign to disseminate forestry and environmental technologies;
To assist the government in forestry and environmental policy formulations through the conduct of relevant studies; and
To provide leadership in charting the direction of Forestry, Environmental Science and Agroforestry education in the country.
Caraga State University once again produced two topnotchers in the concluded 2019 Forester’s Licensure Exam.
