The Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS) program links business and technology, and there is a great demand in the corporate world for people who can integrate all elements of the enterprise into a comprehensive network of responsive, proactive information delivery systems. Information systems have become increasingly important in fields such as health care and criminal justice.
The BSIS program includes: data communications, systems analysis, system development, database administration, project management, computer forensics, health information management, and quality/information assurance.
To train students with technical concepts and practice in the Information System Areas
To provide students with competence and knowledge to take on appropriate roles in Information Systems upon graduation.
Enable students to anticipate change in IT and communicate the likely utility of these new trends
To train students with management skills necessary for the proper deployment Integration and
To engage in community outreach and extension programs that will help alleviate quality of life.
To produce professionals who are national and/or international ICT Exam passers.
