The University GAD Focal Point System (GFPS) and Organizational Structure

By virtue of the delegated authority by the Board of Regents to the President of Caraga State University  per BOR Res. No. 47-12, s.2019, and per Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) Memorandum circular No. 2011-01 dated October 21, 2011, the Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS) is hereby reconstituted as follows:

Chairperson of the CSU GAD Focal Point System: University President                                                                                       

Executive Committee Members:  

1. Offices composing the Vice Presidents 

2. Offices composing the Deans of the various Colleges and 

3. Offices composing the Chancellors of satellite campuses

Per MC No. 2011-01, the Technical Working Group (TWG) may be chaired by a member from the Executive Committee; or the head of the agency may designate a Chairperson outside of the Executive Committee. The Technical Working Group may designate a secretariat. The following unit heads shall compose the Technical Working Group:

Chairperson of the TWG:       Director, Office of Planning and Development (OPD)     

Secretariat of the TWG:          Director, Human Resource Management Services (HRMS)

To ensure effective implementation of the approved programs and activities specified from the annual GAD Plan and budget, a GAD committee is purposely added to serve as immediate support system of the TWG and GAD Focal Point.  GAD Committee members to be composed of the Chairpersons of various departments shall include the following:

Per MC No.2011-01, the Executive committee maybe chaired by the University President or he can appoint someone from the members or someone outside from the committee.
