CSU President Rolyn C. Daguil expressed his high hopes and wishes for Caraga State University on his holiday and birthday messages to the CSU family. A simple Christmas party for the whole CSU family was held early evening of December 19 at the Hinang Hall of CSU.
On his natal day on December 23, 2022, President RCD as he is fondly called by his CSU family manifested the same thoughts of high hopes and wishes for CSU and a unified relationship between and among its constituents.
The task may be gargantuan but with the cooperation and support of the whole of CSU, Dr. Daguil’s dream for CSU may come true through the LIKHA agenda.
“An entrepreneurial university in Mindanao thriving in a “digital economy” that will scale up its competitiveness by translating hypothesis-driven scientific research outcomes that target local problems to becoming regional and global solutions. We will increase the agility, adaptability, and positive transformation by enhancing the digital infrastructure and using data to collaborate, navigate through the disruptions brought about by Industry 4.0 and the COVID-19 pandemic, and transition into the new normal driven by a clear purpose, sustainable and inclusive. Grounded on our core values and local identity, we will optimize the potential of CSU constituents in playing active roles in implementing solutions for the public we are privileged to serve.
We shall expand the impact of the University by producing local problem-solvers and value creators and constantly act as active players for inclusive regional development. Through a forward-thinking, fast-pivoting, team, and systems leadership, we will become relentless to become engines for social and economic development in a digital world. Under my leadership, utmost resolve and meaningful training and experience, I shall guide CSU towards this direction through the LIKHA Agenda.” Let us all create together and walk the same path towards a sustainable, progressive, morally upright educational institution in the 4th Industrial Revolution.
