CSU concludes three-day GPPB Training

Members of the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), BAC Secretariat, Technical Working Group (TWG), and end-users from both campuses concluded their three-day seminar-workshop on Republic Act 9184 yesterday, February 8. This activity is facilitated by the Government Procurement Policy Board (GPPB) and the University’s BAC.

Three esteemed speakers from the GPPB-Technical Support Office (TSO) were invited: Director Ricky L. Sanchez from the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Region IV-B, Director Junrey E. Labatos from the Commission on Audit (COA) Region XIII, and Judge Anthony P. Vitor from the Municipal Circuit Trial Court.

The seminar covered pertinent discussions on GPPB issuances and updates, procurement organization, procurement planning, standard bidding procedures, document preparation, green public procurement, alternative methods of procurement, cost estimates, and penal, civil, and administrative provisions.
