The Caraga State University College of Education collaborated with the Filipino American Teachers of America (AFTA) Incorporated through a project called Balikturo, which literally translates to “Return to teach”.
Caraga State University joins the celebration of Adlaw Hong Butuan through the Sago Eco-Innovation Village Launching on July 30, 2018 held at the J.C Aquino St., Guingona Park. The launching aims to showcase the research-based extension strategy integrating local initiatives enhancing the natural treasures of the city.
The Office of the Vice President for Administration headed by Dr. Armie Leila M. Mordeno initiated a seminar on RA 9184 known as the Government Procurement Reform Act. And its 2016 revised implementing rules and regulations. RA 9184 is an Act providing for the Modernization, Standardization, and Regulation of the Procurement Activities of the Government and for other purposes.
Seven Science Faculty Members were sent to the Summer Programs dubbed as @Silpakorn 2018 held at the Faculty of Science, Silpakorn University, Nakhon Pathom, Thailand last July 31 to August 9, 2018. Accordingly, the summer program aims to publicize academics and research innovation, and promote cooperation and collaboration with other universities in the international level. The summer camp was participated by faculty members, researchers and graduate students from universities in Laos, Philippines and Vietnam.
The Caraga State University (CSU) Graduate Students of the Masters in Environmental Management (MEM) program conducted a Seminar on Mitigation, Adaptation, and Resilience to Climate Change at Barangay Babag, Butuan City last 21 July 2018. The Seminar was in coordination with the CSU Center for Research on Environmental Management and Eco-Governance (CRÈME).
