Caraga State University proudly received the Speed Writer Award and Awesome Award at the ACADEME EXPO 2024, themed "Creating Tomorrow's Possibilities," held from September 30 to October 1, 2024, at General Trias, Cavite. This prestigious event, organized by Analog Devices, Inc., a global leader in the semiconductor industry, gathered academic and industry professionals to showcase groundbreaking research and technological advancements.
The Speed Writer Award recognizes the efficiency and clarity of their technical documentation, while the Awesome Award acknowledges the overall excellence of their project. These awards highlight CSU’s commitment to producing cutting-edge research and its growing presence in the global academic and engineering community.
Engr. Re-Ann Cristine Calimpusan, together with student researchers Angela J. Dumanon and Justine C. Romero, presented the winning paper entitled ‘High-speed 8-bit CMOS Flash Analog-to-Digital Converter with Threshold Inverter Quantization’. This innovative work, which focuses on optimizing the speed and accuracy of analog-to-digital conversion using CMOS technology, was also recognized as a finalist for the Technical Paper Presentation category among 40+ submissions nationwide, along with the mentioned awards.
