CSU Administrative Personnel Stride to Team Building 2018

To continually strengthen the administrative workforce for effective intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships towards the attainment of the University’s vision, mission and general mandate, Team Building activity for 2018 was organized for all the administrative services personnel of Caraga State University Ampayon Campus on May 2-4, 2018.

A total of 186 administrative services personnel including those from the different colleges, the security and janitorial services, took a break from their office routine and went to explore the beauty of the Surfing Capital of the Philippines—Siargao Island. From adventurous getaways and team building games during the day, to the group sharing around the bonfire by the tranquil beachfront at night, personnel were able to bond and foster camaraderie with officemates and co-workers from other units/offices.

The scenic tourist destinations around Siargao Island provided a suitable atmosphere for an individual to reflect, self-evaluate, and improve one’s attitude and values in improving and sustaining one’s competence and effectiveness.

The University’s Team Building activity for administrative personnel is held every two years only, which started last 2016. This year, despite the growing “admin family”,CSU took the challenge of transporting and accommodating all of them in Siargao while still making sure that individual staff will have time to relax and replenish their energies for the work waiting back in their respective offices.
